The new 2026-2027 service charge demands are dropping into people’s inboxes today and early next week.
It’s good to see an average cut of 6.6% to service charges, although this will vary across the blocks. When you also factor in inflation of around 3% for the last year, this means a significant cut for leaseholders.
The RAs have worked hard over the last few years to hold Savills to account and bring service charges under control. We are pleased with the direction of travel, although we know for many it’s still too high. We will continue our work to bring service charges down and keep South Gardens a lovely community to call our homes.
